Could be a typo (or slight misinformation). It’s an ERA engine. Another source states 180-200hp from 1.5L on alcohol.

Even with alcohol, that is what my mini’s engine makes with EFI and a turbo, 1.6l. I would love to know how they managed that.

Well, it is based on a TT chassis, according to the link.

On the other hand, the fact that the car was developed for the Tourist Trophy does not mean it was uncompetitive in other kinds of events, I presume...

I have seen a couple of sports Rileys “in the metal” and they are an exceedingly attractive proposition. Of course nowadays completely out of reach for most of us.
